Can you sell on TPT and your own site at once?

Yes, unless you choose TPT Exclusive. Basic lets you sell the same resources on your own site, on other marketplaces, or anywhere else. Exclusive is the one TPT option that asks you to sell your digital resources only on TPT.
What changes on January 1, 2027
TPT closed Premium to new sellers on October 1, 2026, and ends it on January 1, 2027. If you're a Premium seller, you have two paths:
- Opt in to Exclusive and keep a higher rate (77.5 percent from January 1, 2027), but sell your digital resources only on TPT.
- Do nothing and move to Basic, which pays 55 percent minus a 30 cent fee per resource, and lets you sell anywhere.
TPT explains the details in its FAQ for existing Premium sellers. Read it before you choose, since the rules for products you already sell elsewhere are TPT's to set.
If you choose Exclusive later
Exclusive covers digital products, so if you opt in after listing somewhere else, you'll need to take those listings down. That includes Honor System. So it's worth deciding about Exclusive before you set up a second store. TPT Exclusive or Basic? covers the dates, the fee, and the one-year wait if you leave.
Running two stores without doing everything twice
- Keep one master folder. Store the final file for each resource in one place, and upload from there to every store. When you fix a typo, you fix it once.
- Reuse your own titles and descriptions. You wrote them, so you can use them anywhere. Copy from your own files rather than from a marketplace page.
- Update everywhere on the same day. On Honor System, uploading a new version emails every teacher who owns it, and they download it from their library.
- Use one price list. Different prices in different places confuse repeat buyers.
