Fees and payouts
How fees work
- We keep a platform fee of 10 percent of the item price. It is never charged on sales tax.
- Card processing, about 2.9 percent plus 30 cents and set by Stripe, comes out of the seller's side. The calculator shows it as an estimate; every sale on your statement shows the actual amount.
- No membership fee. No listing fee. No per-resource fee. No exclusivity.
- Buyers pay the listed price plus any sales tax Stripe calculates. The tax is not part of your price and goes to the tax authority.

Why we show the comparison. We show TPT's numbers so you can check them against your own sales there. Their rates change, and so could ours; this page will say when.
Questions
Why is there a card fee at all?
Stripe charges about 2.9 percent plus 30 cents to process a card payment. We pass that cost to the seller at exactly what Stripe charges, with no markup, which is how the platform fee stays at 10 percent.
Why does the $3 example show TPT Exclusive slightly higher?
On a $3 item the card fee's fixed 30 cents is a large share of the price, and TPT Exclusive's $0.15 fee only applies to orders under $3.00. At TPT's 77.5 percent rate, Exclusive pays $2.33 on a $3 item and we estimate $2.31. At $5 we estimate $4.06 against Exclusive's $3.88, and we never ask you to sell only here.
Do I have to sell exclusively?
No. You can sell the same resources here, on TPT, and on your own site. There is no exclusive tier and no lower rate for selling elsewhere.
Is there a membership fee?
No. There is no membership fee, no listing fee, and no per-resource fee. The only charges are the 10 percent platform fee and the card fee on a sale.
Is sales tax included in my price?
No. Buyers pay your listed price plus any sales tax Stripe calculates, and that tax is not part of your price or of the 10 percent fee. Stripe's card fee is charged on the whole payment, including tax, so on a taxed order the actual card fee can be a few cents higher than the estimate.
How is the card fee calculated and when do I see the actual number?
Before a sale we estimate it as 2.9 percent plus 30 cents of the price. After each sale your Sales page and monthly statement show the actual fee Stripe charged. When a buyer gets several items in one order, Stripe's fee for the order is split across the items by price, so the fixed 30 cents is shared.
